Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile! I’m a senior in high school with several years of experience in informal teaching. I also am the President & Founder of the Massachusetts Chapter of JuniorCoach. With a 4.32 Unweighted GPA, I have taken predominantly Honors and AP classes throughout high school. I am an Honor Roll Student, AP Scholar with Honor, National Honor Society Member, and most recently a Scholastic Writing Awards National Medalist. In high school, I have participated in rigorous academic summer programs, including Harvard’s Secondary School Program. I have engaged in informal teaching by working at my local organization for youth programs and volunteering for over 180 hours at the Museum of Science, Boston. Through these experiences, I have developed strong mentoring and teaching skills. I am patient, compassionate, and encouraging with all my students! I use techniques that are friendly to all learning styles, which work time and again to identify the area you need help and then implement ways that you can improve your skills. My goal is to always help foster long-term learning skills in my students, which they can use all their lives. I am ready to tutor you in all elementary and middle school subjects, along with certain areas of my specialty in high school. If you are a high school student needing help in any of your English or Social Studies classes (any level), please book me! I can also tutor basic algebra and physics, as I have taken Honors and AP level classes in those areas. I have gotten high scores on AP English Language and Composition, AP Microeconomics, and AP Psychology exams, and can help you out in those subjects too. I am very good with helping out on exam prep and can assist you with preparing for the upcoming AP exams in these subjects too! Also, I speak Malayalam, a regional Indian language, fluently and can teach basic Malayalam to students who require help on it! In my free time, I enjoy cooking, writing, reading, watching movies, and spending time with the people I love! In college, I hope to major in Mechanical Engineering, as I love physics and problem-solving! I try to engage in STEAM-related activities whenever I can, especially through my community service work. When making bookings, please make sure to respond to my introduction email with information on what grade and subject you need help with. I appreciate it when students come to my sessions with questions and specific topics to work on. It’d be my pleasure to tutor you and I look forward to doing so! Let’s do this! Please book at least 48 hours in advance and avoid booking for more than 1 hour per week, so that all students can get a chance to book a session!
