Hi, I'm Melvin, a rising Sophomore at Northview High School. I have been playing the piano for ten years, swimming for six years, and doing competition math for five years, but most importantly, I have a strong passion for learning and teaching others. I took AP Calculus BC, Honors Precalculus, and Honors Algebra II/Geometry B, achieving a 100 unweighted average in all three. I am Vice President of the Northview Math Club, and I led the team to win 1st place at the GAAPMT Calculus Competition. I scored an 8/15 on the AIME and in the top 2.5% of AMC 10. Also, I have won 1st Place in the GMTA State Piano Competition for four years and the International Young Artists Piano Competition Special Judges Award, and I have performed at Carnegie Hall. I swim for Dynamo Swim Club and won 3 Gold Medals and 1 Bronze Medal at the GA Swimming State Championships.
